Eggplant is abundant this year.
Farm News: Tomatoes are slowly ripening in the field, which is why last week we were unable to send out on Monday’s delivery. The high tunnel tomatoes are basically done and diseased – it was great to have early tomatoes, thanks for understanding.

Farm News: I read on one of those framed pictures at the co-op recently a very well written composition about farming and how some approach that worked 10 times may not work on the 11th and as a farmer you may not ever know why it didn’t work. We’ve only been at this for 3 years now and I have just begun to establish these approaches that may or may not work on the 11th try. In a way, I believe that this is the real joy of this kind of farming.
Farm News: The rain was once again a relief to the plants in the field and us. We feel fortunate to be in the position we are considering the drought many farmers are experiencing in the Midwest.
